I guess there is a cowboy boot club in the first grade and Luke is a member. The rules state: "If you wear your cowboy boots to school, you can be a part of the club". I think there are 3 members. Never mind the 2 feet of snow! It's kind of cute, but it also kind of bothers me. I have a million questions for Luke about this club "Who is the leader of this club?" "What exactly is it that you do in this club?" "What happens if you don't wear your boots to school?" "Are you being nice to the kids that don't have cowboy boots?" .....the list goes on. I don't think any of these things really matter to Luke; I think he just simply wants to belong. *sigh* I love this kid.

COOL boots, Luke! Hey Jen, be glad it's the cowboy club! How cute is that?! I'm sure little boys could come up with a lost worse!!! :) Cowboy boots are the best! Both of my kids love to wear them! Hey, I think I need a pair!

"Clubs" were big in the first grade way back when my kids were there. It was worse with the girls, who would say "you can't be in my club..." anytime they were mad at somebody, including their mothers.
I kind of like the cowboy boot club - so cute.
Reminds me of another kid with cowboy boots...I think they are EASY bd'easy to put on! shorts, snow...whatever the weather..love it! =)

I guess my 6 yr. old could join the club then! She begs to wear her (boy) cowboy boots to school every day. There are only so many outfits that look even remotely o.k. with cowboy boots.
