My van was in the shop getting new brakes today, so I wasn't sure when I'd be able to get out and vote. My dear friend, Tricia offered to pick me up on her way to the voting polls. You know, what could have been a chore turned out to be fun.....anything with a friend is better than doing it alone. So afterwards, we celebrated by driving through McDonald's for our a treat....our shared love for their Coke. mmmmmm. (oh, and Paige HAD to get a burger and fries!) Of course Tricia thinks I'm crazy for taking the pictures that I do, but hey.....it's all for THE BLOG!!! By the way.....I kind of felt like I was doing something illegal by taking a picture of my ballot in the voting booth!

Glad you had a good friend to run you to the polls. Hey, at least we did our part even though the outcome wasn't our 1st choice! God is in control!

i took pictures, too! i was so busy that day, i didn't get them up....then i was too depressed to do it! i ask for persmission before i took pictures! i didn't want them to haul me off or something! ;)
