What do you get when you cross a Princess, a Witch and a Cowboy?
My kids!!
Riley and Luke had a costume parade at school yesterday. It's where they get to show off their costumes to everybody. They parade all around the school, past the library, and the local fire dept. even pulls out one of the fire trucks for the kids to parade past. It makes the kids feel so special to be able to do this and have a huge crowd of parents watch them and clap for them. I love the look of pure joy on their faces!
And Little Miss Paige......some girlfriends and I took our little ones dressed up in their costumes to a local nursing home. It was neat to see how much the residents enjoyed seeing these little tikes running around. Paige was too cute....she would just walk right up to someone and wave her sweet princess wave and give her biggest cheesiest smile and even offered a couple of hugs. I really do have some great kids!
